Conservative candidate for Sleaford and North Hykeham Caroline Johnson has welcomed the news there are 190,000 more people in work in the East Midlands since 2010. In Sleaford and North Hykeham the number of people claiming the key out of work benefits has fallen by 48% over the last six years.
Dr Johnson who is the Conservative candidate in the Sleaford and North Hykeham by-election said “This is good news for Sleaford and North Hykeham giving more families the security of a regular pay packet. The number of people relying on the key out of work benefit has fallen by 48% under the Conservatives and growth is being fuelled by full-time professional jobs while wages are continuing to grow strongly".
Since she was selected on 10 November, Caroline has been out and about in the constituency meeting residents, visiting businesses and attending local events. On the campaign trail, she is receiving a phenomenal amount of support from MPs, councillors and local members - see photos attached.
