I have lived in Heckington for over 20 years with my husband and family. I have worked in the ward in various roles over the years, and that gives me an understanding of local issues and how countryside communities work.
I’m absolutely committed to providing the best services and facilities for rural communities like ours, and having servedas a District Councillor since 2012 I have the experience of local government to get things done.
I support local businesses and affordable housing for local people, but I will always oppose unsuitable planning applications which threaten our rural way of life. In addition to looking after my residents my roles at the District Council include membership of the Planning Comittee, both Licensing Committees, the Audit Committee, the Audit Sub-committee examining the Council's IT provision, the Evironment Overview & Scrutiny Panel and the Tenant Liaison Panel.
