Cllr Andrew Hagues

Andrew was elected to serve the new Division of Sleaford Rural in May 2017.

He said "I have been a Conservative county councillor representing Sleaford West and Leasingham since 2011.  I am also Vice Chairman of Lincolnshire County Council for the current year.

My wife and I have lived in Leasingham for 38 years - so no stranger to local issues, many of which have been ignored by some politicians.  At the beginning of 2016, I retired from full time employment with Anglian Water and this has allowed me the opportunity to devote more time to understanding and, hopefully, resolving some of the concerns of the community.

Where possible, I like to help with local projects and these have included:  the Sleaford Museum, Leasingham playing field pavilion and the Community Larder."
